I am a ball of mixed emotions. I finished reading this book last night anddd I’m still not sure how I feel about it. I both loved it and hated it at the same time.

I loved: the writing style, the characters, the creativity that went into the story and how intriguing and unputdownable it is.

I didn’t like: the ending. My heart and soul were put through the freaking ringer and back throughout the entire book only for it to have a VERY unfulfilling ending.

I guess it also doesn’t help my case that I went into it expecting romance and was very disappointed to find out it’s not that kind of story. At all. It’s more of a very dramatic story so keep that in mind because you’ll be left feeling very unsatisfied otherwise. Right now I’m thinking I would have liked it more if this book had started exactly where it ended (go read it so you understand what I’m talking about).

All in all, although I did enjoy some things about this book, it didn’t win me over completely so I’m giving it 3.5 stars.
