I have to say I had a very interesting experience with this book. I really didn’t like it in the beginning, but then I started liked the story while not liking Aurora—the main character. It was quite a weird thing.
Aurora is the type of character that I don’t vibe with. She’s popular and has her group of pretty friends—which I have nothing against—but to me she just seemed a little self-centered. She also always found a way to make things into a big drama and she doesn’t know the meaning of “mind your own dang business”. Reading about her was not always a fun experience.
On the other hand, Hayden Paris is the love of my life… okay, maybe not, but he’s just amazing. He’s sweet, smart, funny, kind, caring and overall incredible. He’s so romantic which made me love the romance part of this book. It’s very fairy tale-ish which I’m a sucker for. I really enjoyed that, a secret admirer, a romantic school play, never been kissed… it was great.
Overall, I loved Hayden and the whole story while not liking Aurora. I never thought that’d be possible but apparently it is. I recommend this book to pretty much anyone, but specially hopeless romantics.
